More Than Childcare

A Relationship-Based Approach

We keep the homepage easy to read, but the details matter. This page explains how Bunny builds care, trust and communication around each child.

Every Child Matters

Every child is different. Some children settle quickly, some need more time, and some need a very familiar adult nearby before they feel confident. Our approach is designed to help children feel safe, known and understood.

Every Family Matters

Families know their children best. We value open communication with parents and whānau, and we want each family to feel heard, respected and included in their child’s early learning journey.

Personalised Small Group Care

A Key Teacher for Every Child

On average, every 3–5 children are supported by a key teacher. This key teacher pays closer attention to each child’s daily routines, emotions, learning, friendships and growth.

Wherever possible, we support children to connect with a teacher they naturally feel close to. This helps children build trust, familiarity and emotional security.

Family–Teacher Partnership

Families, Teachers and Children as One Team

At Bunny, every teacher’s starting point is love for children and a strong sense of responsibility. We want families to feel confident that their child is cared for by adults who are thoughtful, attentive and genuinely committed.

From time to time, we invite family feedback by email. This helps us understand each family’s experience, strengthen communication, and continue improving the relationship and fit between families and our teaching team.
